- QI GONG
- Recent studies attribute the effectiveness of Qi Gong to its action on nerve fibers, through which it balances and enhances all body functions. Fully and deservedly included in the vast list of alternative medicines for some time, today Qi Gong is also an excellent tool when utilized by masseurs, physiotherapists, chiropractors and kinesiologists, as well as acupuncture and shiatsu therapists. It might be of great interest to underline that the fundamental principles of bioenergetics techniques, postural integration and gymnastics come from Qi Gong and Taijiquan.
“Chi” (or Qi) in the ancient Chinese Tradition means “energy, breath of life”: a unified force that permeates all living things and natural phenomena, which is the foundation of all the schools of the Perennial Tradition, including acupuncture. Qi Gong teaches how to handle this energy for your own benefit by combining Oriental Medicine studies about “Chi” with Taoist meditation and physical activity.
Qi Gong is a system of exercises aimed at a better understanding and awareness of our body in all its potentials. It improves the functions of our organism, teaching us to perceive our life energy (Chi), to consciously deal with it and live better and longer. It also helps releasing all tensions, allowing us to find relaxation, wellness and harmony.
